Association Analysis

Summary

Add a .html file to your portfolio titled Association Analysis.

Purpose & Requirements

Demonstrate your knowledge of association mining by describing how the classic association analysis algorithm works. Your writing should include:

• An introduction that summarizes what we mean by "association analysis" and the typical model-building process (a priori principle, frequent itemset generation, rule generation, etc)
• Describe common use cases of association analysis and the benefits and drawbacks of the classic algorithm (easily summarized from your textbook).

This document should be equivalent to two double-spaced, typewritten pages in length. Be brief, but thorough -- the reader should have a good understanding about the classic association analysis algorithm, and believe that you have a strong understanding of them.

Grading Criteria (250 points)

Your portfolio must contain a table of contents in index.html and have one link called Association Analysis; and one page called association_analysis.html that fulfills the requirements described above.
